Sayyed Abdulmalik Congratulates Islamic Nation on Ramadan, Urges Justice and Support for Palestinians

The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badral-Dinal-Houthi, extended his congratulations to the Yemeni people and the broader Islamic nation on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH, concedering it as a season for attaining piety and advancing the responsibility of establishing justice.

Hawzah News Agency- In a statement delivered Tuesday evening, Sayyed Abdulmalik said the ultimate purpose of fasting is to attain “taqwa (piety),” drawing guidance from the Holy Quran, benefiting from Laylat al-Qadr, and seeking salvation and divine mercy.

The leader offered congratulations to the Yemeni Muslim people, fighters stationed on the fronts, state institutions, religious scholars, and the Islamic nation as a whole.

He said Ramadan as a “great divine grant” and an exceptional opportunity to multiply rewards, strengthen faith, purify souls, and reform individual and collective conduct. He stressed the importance of making conscious use of the holy month to fulfill the sacred responsibilities, including establishing justice, striving in the cause of Allah, and presenting the Islamic civilizational model.

The Leader warned that the Islamic nation faces significant dangers and challenges from the forces of evil and tyranny led by the United States and the Israeli enemy, pointing in particular to the suffering of the Palestinian people.

He said these challenges require a sincere return to Allah and adherence to the causes of divine support and victory, concedering Ramadan as an opportunity to achieve a major transformation in the nation’s condition.

The leader also called for strengthening social solidarity during Ramadan by supporting the poor and needy, reinforcing family ties, and promoting compassion and cooperation. He cautioned against wasting the holy month on distractions, warning that neglecting its spiritual value would result in loss.

He concluded by emphasizing the importance of reciting the Quran, remembering Allah frequently, and adhering to piety, while praying for mercy upon the martyrs, recovery for the wounded, and victory and empowerment for the Yemeni people.

Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, is observed by Muslims worldwide as a period of fasting, worship, charity, and spiritual reflection. In Yemen, the occasion comes amid ongoing regional tensions and continued expressions of suppor for the Palestinian cause in the face of ongoing aggression by the Israeli enemy.
